Pastor Spencer leads Emmaus, the College and Young Adult Ministry of LACPC, with a deep passion for helping young adults wrestle with their faith and discover real, transformative answers in Jesus. His calling to ministry was shaped by a burden to confront the tough questions many young people ask about the Bible, Christianity, and the competing worldviews they encounter today. Whether it’s questions about science and faith, doubt, purpose, or truth, Pastor Spencer believes the church must be a place where young adults are encouraged to think deeply, ask honestly, and be grounded biblically.

 

His ministry is rooted in a commitment to walk closely with students and young adults during one of the most pivotal seasons of life — helping them grow in biblical understanding, spiritual formation, and a faith that endures. He is devoted to clear teaching, relational discipleship, and raising up a generation of bold, thoughtful, and faithful followers of Jesus. His wife, Joon, and son, Curtis, continue to walk alongside him in both life and ministry.
